Flore Nové-Josserand
Flore Nove-Josserand's practice embraces painting, sculpture and
installations. It is concerned with notions of pictorial composition
and the inter-relationship of one decorative surface to another. Flore
Nove-Josserand draws on the concentrated vocabulary of formalist
movements and that of the decorative arts: wallpaper motifs, textiles,
and so forth, to create aesthetic playgrounds in which abstract forms
and painterly marks can perform.
