Ruairiadh O'Connell

Ruairiadh O'Connell works with found objects and moments, creating new associations between these objects leading the viewer to reconsider the environment in which they find themselves. Through O'Connell's somewhat gentle and acute sensitivity towards the everyday, we view the mundane with new eyes, where a simple object can not only be utilised for its own practical use, but can also take on a higher and more poetic meaning.
